ATD MODEL of the Flex-PLI

The Flex-PLI is used in pedestrian safety front crash situations. It is created from leg components: lower leg, knee and upper leg.
The ATD-fPLI is a simulation model of the Flex-PLI. The model is derived from the ATD-aPLI and profits from the experience in its development process. Users benefit from the similarities in numbering of e.g. parts, model structure and handling of both models.


Some characteristics of the ATD-fPLI are:

• Technical insight through realistic implementation of the geometry and its characteristics
